Harleston Corncuopia

easter 300x193 Easter Opening Hours The traditional approach!Easter is fast coming upon us and we wanted to let our Customers know our Easter opening hours. As we are ‘traditionalists’ at heart, we have decided to keep to traditional opening hours over the Easter weekend and therefore we will not be open on Good Friday or Easter Sunday.  We will be open on Easter Saturday (10am-5pm) and Easter Monday (10am-4pm) though – so come along and have a browse, grab a glass of wine or partake of tea and cake. We would love to see you!

Calling all classic car enthusiasts

Harleston Corncuopia

car 300x225 Calling all classic car enthusiastsThere is nothing not vintage with the owners of the Corn exchange!

The Vintage vibe continues with their new mode of transport a classic wedgewood blue triumph herald with very rare Bermuda hardtop which arrived at the weekend.  The boys intend to use their new ‘toy’ to promote the facility with the Cornucopia logo emblazoned on the side panels.  It will be parked outside the front most days so all you car enthusiasts come and take a look!

Harleston Corncuopia

IMG 0063 225x300 What a wonderful evening Our Valentines Night DinnerRomance was in the air on Friday night at our Valentines Night! 24 guests joined us for a 3 course meal with many sat under the lanterns of Arbella Road! Candles, paper hearts, roses and vintage china adorned the tables and even Grannies Parlour was laid out for a couple wishing to celebrate Valentines in a truly unique vintage setting.

‘Wonderful food’ and ‘what a lovely atmosphere’ were just some of the many compliments that Glen and the team received for what turned out to be a great success.

Our next event will be on Saturday, 29th and Sunday, 30th March 2014 when we celebrate Mothers Day.  Treat your Mum to a vintage hair and makeup session on Saturday 29th with Hollie or why not treat your Mum to a lovely carvery lunch on Sunday, 30th.  Call Erika at Cornucopia on 01379 854500 to book for either of these events.

Denton Christmas Tree 225x300 A wonderful Christmas Cracker night had by all!Friday, 6th December saw us opening our doors again for late night shoppers. Haleston’s Christmas Cracker night was a great success and by 7pm we were absolutely packed!  We were very honoured to be chosen by South Norfolk Council to house the last ‘Christmas Tree’ on the Christmas Tree Bauble Trail.

If you missed seeing the tree made by children from Alburgh with Denton Primary School – it is on display until Christmas so pop along and see it.

If you are Christmas shopping this weekend, forget the crowds in Norwich and come along and shop with us. We have some wonderful new, vintage and antique gifts. With over 37 shops, stalls and cabinets, there is plenty to choose from. If you get a bit weary then why not stop for tea and cake at our Vintage Tea Rooms or have a cheeky glass of wine at the Langtry Bar! We are open 7 days a week 10am – 5pm (Sunday until 4pm).

We would love to see you!
